Frequently asked questions
Where are Zoom recordings saved?
Zoom local recordings are saved in the Documents/Zoom folder on your computer, with an MP4 video file and an M4A audio file. Cloud recordings can be downloaded from the Recordings page of your zoom.us account.
Where are Google Meet recordings saved?
Google Meet saves recordings to the Meet Recordings folder in the meeting organizer’s Google Drive. Download the MP4 file from Google Drive, then upload it to Possibl.
Do I need a paid Zoom or Google Workspace plan?
No. Possibl only needs the recording file. Zoom and Meet built-in transcripts usually require certain paid plans, while on Possibl you pay only for the length of the recording.
What if the recording is larger than 500MB?
Uploads can be up to 500MB and 5 hours per file. Long video recordings often go over 500MB, so use the M4A audio file from Zoom, or convert the video to MP3 first.
Can Possibl tell who is speaking?
Yes. Possibl detects speakers automatically and labels them Speaker 1, Speaker 2, and so on. You can rename the labels to the attendees’ names.
How much does it cost to transcribe a meeting recording?
Possibl has four pricing tiers: Lite $0.15/hour, Standard $0.20/hour, Medium $0.35/hour, and Turbo $0.55/hour. A 2-hour recording on the Lite tier costs about $0.30. There is no subscription fee.
